Documentation needed for your Bahamian Wedding:

• Passport and/or birth certificate along with photo identification
• A Bahamian marriage licence issued at the Office of the Registrar General in Nassau or, The Commissioner’s Office on any island
• Both parties must be in The Bahamas when applying for the licence
• Evidence of being in The Bahamas for 24 hours prior to applying for a marriage licence must be presented
• Declaration certified by a Canadian Notary Public that you are currently unmarried
• If previously married, original final decree or a certified copy. If widowed, must produce death certificate of deceased spouse.
