Hi Sonia,
Well I can say I don't know what I would have done without you. It was good to have you and your crew there to alleviate some of the stress of the day. I did not have to worry about keeping everybody in line as you guys did that for me, thank god because I know I would have gotten flustered at some point throughout that day had you not been there. The way you managed to be in every place at the right time speaks volumes. Your ability to organize and keep things organized...just the way I like it, was right on point and on time. Once again, I really seriously do not know what I would have done without you.
The way you and Shelley resolved my issue with the flowers at the church was great. I got beautiful REAL flowers within my budget in a time crunch. The decor for the church, even though put together quickly worked, it was simple and well done, yet another task that I handed to you and you took it, no complaints. The way you packed up everything in the bridal suite at the end so I did not have to worry about that was also a big help. You made sure that I knew where everything was when it was time for use to leave the hall.
I really just want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart for your professionalism and the care you took to make sure that my day ran smoothly. You truly do go above and beyond.

Hiring Sonia was truly the smartest thing I did for my wedding. I'm very Type A and had done 98% of the planning myself but the reality was that I wouldn't be able to direct traffic on the day of...I had to relinguish the control! The money spent on Sonia was without a doubt the absolute best investment we made. She set up the entire room to my specifications and then some; when one of my "bridesmaid's" hair took way too long to straighten, Sonia picked up the extra straightening iron and got to work; she coordinated the "presentation of the wedding party" or the introduction of all 27 people with systematic ease; she coordinated the photographers to be where they should be when they should be; she played "airline steward" stamping passports for the guests as they went into the "Travel the World" food banquet; she played traffic cop very diplomatically when a couple of guests were too rowdy during the ceremony; and most important of all......when a few of our 'friends' thought it would be funny to sneak into our honeymoon suite and essentially trash it with toilet paper, putting beach sand in the bed, among other incredibly childish pranks (Yes, this was not taken well when we found out the next morning), Sonia and Shelley stayed an extra almost 2 HOURS cleaning it all up and leaving our room absolutely breathtakingly beautiful and romantic with lit candles and rose petals. IF I hadn't hired Sonia, we would have come up to our room at the end of the night and been positively devastated to see it trashed.
I was more than pleased with the service, I was grateful that she went the extra mile to make things right. Sonia met with us twice before the event (realizing that I had done all of the planning myself, her role was solely as "Day Of" coordinator in our case)... she took diligent notes regarding every little detail and at our meeting just before the event, gave me a customized timeline in Excel showing exactly the times, the who, the what, the where that had to be done throughout the entire night. It was very comforting and more tightly structured than my 15 page summary. :D I highly recommend a wedding planner/day of coordinator (particularly Sonia of course) but in general, their services will be INVALUABLE to your sanity on the day of your wedding.

Thank you One of a Kind Weddings for all your help and hard work. Even though it was a small wedding never the less, the work involved was plenty. With everything going wrong at last minute, we could not have done it with out you. We will never forget the courage and support you gave us to go ahead with our first dance, so glad you were there and everything went perfect, just like you said.

I wanted to write and thank you for everything you did to make Lindsay's and Mike's wedding day a wonderful one. Your help through the past year was invaluable. You allowed us to enjoy all of the planning without any of the stress. We are all so appreciative of the dedication and hard work also on the actual day last Friday. Everyone had a wonderful time and there were many compliments from our guests about so many aspects of the day. I was sure to tell them how great you were! Please convey our thanks also to Shelley, Paul and his drivers (they were terrific in making sure we got everything home that night!).

From day one, Sonia came prepared with a portfolio of the work she did. We felt at ease with her. She was knowledgeable and answered questions that we had. This was just after we met with another wedding planner, who didn’t give us an easy feeling. It was a night and day comparison.
It is definitely a valuable asset to have someone assisting/coordinating on the day of. Things may be hectic but as soon as your wedding day starts, it should be stress-free, and mine was knowing that Sonia was handling the logistics / everything behind the scenes. It’s also nice having someone hired as opposed to a friend(s) or family taking on that responsibility. You want your friend(s) or family to enjoy the day as well, as a guest.
Sonia was professional and very organized. I was impressed when she handed to me the itinerary for the day, with what/where all the key people (ie.my husband/the photographer/Sonia/the DJ/reception details/myself) would be at what time all laid out on a spreadsheet. It showed that she had the “big picture” in mind and made sure everything realistically fit – time wise.
She handled the church ceremony and onward: making sure that the flowers were brought to the hotel for both the ladies and the men, that the photographer would be at the hotel at the agreed time, that the flowers were delivered to the church and it was decorated, that all the people involved in the church ceremony were there, etc.
She will work with your budget (which will be discussed at the beginning). She will be there to give ideas, advice and suggestions of suppliers, but of course, you and your fiancé have the ultimate say/final decision.
Overall, I would definitely recommend her services. She made it a fun experience and we still keep in touch. I am now pregnant with our first child and she suggested that I go through a midwife … and I’m glad I did.
